IT Operation Specialist

About the role

As an IT Operation Specialist at Bosch Global Software Technologies, you will be the go‑to expert for internal teams, ensuring applications meet Bosch standards and are ready for production. You will design secure, stable infrastructure, lead application onboarding, and continuously improve IT service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to internal teams on application setup according to Bosch standards and directives.
• Design and plan IT infrastructure for new applications, focusing on security, stability, and launch readiness.
• Lead end‑to‑end onboarding of new applications, from planning meetings to go‑live.
• Deliver reliable, high‑quality IT services and drive continuous improvement.
• Assist in project planning, provide on‑call support for urgent issues, and travel to customer sites when required.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical foundation with a passion for helping others.

Required skills

• Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Scripting languages/tools: PowerShell, Python, Ansible.
• Monitoring tools: Splunk, New Relic.
• Database basics: SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB.
• DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins.
• Networking, firewalls, and security fundamentals.
