IT Infrastructure & System Administrator

About the role

Palnar is seeking an IT Infrastructure & System Administrator with 2–4 years of experience to manage and support its global IT environment. The role involves overseeing servers, networks, cloud platforms, and end‑user devices while ensuring security, availability, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows, Linux, and macOS servers, laptops, and related hardware.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, Active Directory, and Group Policy objects.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security; apply patches, updates, and upgrades.
• Administer LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity; troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Operate cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (VMs, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring, backup).
• Implement endpoint security, backup and disaster‑recovery procedures, and support business continuity planning.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across server, network, endpoint, and cloud environments.
• Coordinate infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and change management activities.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in system and network administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access management.
• Proficiency in networking concepts and equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services.
