IT Helpdesk Level 1 – Onsite Support Technician

About the role

Astreya is seeking an IT Helpdesk Level 1 Technician to provide both onsite and remote support for end‑users. The role involves handling service tickets, setting up workstations, and ensuring conference rooms are ready for meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to IT service tickets using documented procedures and maintain accurate records in ServiceNow.
• Assist with workstation setups, peripheral connections, and basic AV equipment checks.
• Support imaging, device deployment, recovery, and e‑waste processes under supervision.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through tagging, tracking, and regular audits.
• Escalate unresolved issues according to defined protocols and adhere to safety and client‑specific guidelines.

Required profile

• Entry‑level or associate‑level experience in IT support.
• Ability to follow SOPs, document resolutions clearly, and communicate professionally with clients.
• Willingness to work onsite at client locations and provide remote assistance when needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
• Basic knowledge of AV equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Experience with imaging and hardware deployment.
• Hardware troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Asset management and inventory tracking capabilities.
