IT Helpdesk Engineer – End‑User Support & System Administration

About the role

We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Engineer to join our IT department. The role involves providing first‑line support to internal and external users, managing system deployments, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite, phone and remote support (via MS Teams or similar) for hardware, software, OS and network issues.
• Install, configure and image operating systems (Windows 11, Ubuntu, macOS) on laptops and desktops.
• Manage user accounts, groups and computers in Active Directory, including password resets and profile configuration.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN networking, DHCP, DNS, NAT, IPv4/IPv6 and shared drives.
• Set up and support email and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
• Apply security patches, manage updates through SCCM and enforce client policies.
• Maintain the IT asset database, coordinate warranty support and handle asset lifecycle.
• Create and manage tickets, monitor error logs and report incidents to relevant teams.
• Perform basic data recovery and install/maintain network and local printers and scanners.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience as an IT Helpdesk or Support Engineer, preferably in a corporate environment.
• BCA/BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and a self‑motivated attitude.
