IT Consultant – Java & Reactive Programming

About the role

As part of the Infosys consulting team, you will work on end‑to‑end digital transformation projects, helping clients define problems, estimate effort, design solutions and oversee deployment. The role blends technical design with client interaction, ensuring high‑quality, value‑adding outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and to‑be processes.
• Research alternative solutions, conduct literature surveys, evaluate vendors and build proof‑of‑concepts.
• Configure and customize solutions on relevant products, diagnose issues and propose remediation.
• Collaborate with clients to identify challenges, refine data and contribute to deliverables.
• Participate in unit‑level and organisational initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong logical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work with clients, understand business challenges and suggest technology‑driven improvements.
• One or two industry domain knowledge areas are a plus.

Required skills

• Core Java development.
• Reactive Programming (e.g., ReactJS or similar frameworks).
