IT Application Governance Specialist – Services SME

About the role

As an IT Application Governance Specialist you will work closely with Application Owners to ensure that all IT applications meet governance, compliance and audit requirements. You will act as a key liaison between business units and internal control teams, supporting a robust governance framework across the Bosch Group.

Key responsibilities

• Support Application Owners in governance, compliance and audit readiness activities.
• Coordinate periodic governance tasks such as access reviews, risk assessments, control validations, policy attestations and audit evidence collection.
• Ensure mandatory governance activities are completed within defined timelines.
• Represent IT Owners during internal and external audits.
• Interpret and apply national and international regulatory standards (e.g., CRA, EU AI Act) to the IT landscape.
• Participate in international, interdisciplinary teams, including the Internal Control System.
• Prepare and maintain governance dashboards for stakeholder reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in IT Governance, Compliance, Application Support or Risk Management.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on ownership and accountability.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
