IT / Application Architect – OpenShift Platform

About the role

Airbus India is seeking an experienced IT/Application Architect to lead the design and implementation of solutions on the OpenShift platform. The role will shape the future direction of IT products and services, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and validate architectural designs for new IT products and services, focusing on OpenShift‑based solutions.
• Collaborate with fellow architects, system analysts, and development teams to deliver high‑quality, cutting‑edge solutions.
• Create solution patterns and models that guide technology decisions across projects.
• Participate throughout the application development lifecycle, from research and design through testing, deployment and support.
• Align architecture strategies with long‑term business objectives and information‑system roadmaps.
• Provide expertise in business‑process reengineering, change management and technology enablement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT or application architect, preferably in large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud‑native platforms, especially Red Hat OpenShift.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and influence technical direction.
• Commitment to compliance, integrity and sustainable growth.
