iOS Developer – SDE 3

About the role

We are looking for experienced iOS Developers at the SDE II and SDE III levels to build and scale a high‑engagement consumer technology platform. You will own critical iOS modules, translate product ideas into polished user experiences, and solve challenges involving performance, real‑time interactions, offline functionality, security, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑quality iOS applications using Swift.
• Build responsive and reusable user interfaces with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Own features from technical design through release and post‑production monitoring.
• Integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, push notifications, analytics, authentication, and third‑party services.
• Improve startup time, rendering performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and crash rates.
• Develop reliable offline experiences using local storage, caching, and data synchronization.
• Write modular, testable, and maintainable code following MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture or similar patterns.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and production troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Typically 6–9 years of iOS development experience (SDE III level).
• Owns architecture and delivery of major application areas and makes system‑level decisions.
• Mentors other iOS engineers and raises technical standards.
• Collaborates with product, design, backend, AI, security, and quality teams.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Hands‑on experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors), and Combine.
• Familiarity with architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture or The Composable Architecture.
• Experience with URLSession, Codable, Core Data, UserDefaults, Keychain, and local caching.
• Integration of REST APIs, WebSockets, Firebase, push notifications, universal links and deep links.
• Knowledge of dependency injection, modular architecture, background processing and data synchronization.
• Unit and UI testing using XCTest, XCUITest or Swift Testing.
• Proficiency with Git, Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, CI/CD pipelines, App Store Connect and TestFlight.
