Inventory Operations Strategist – D2C

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Inventory Operations Strategist to own the end‑to‑end inventory lifecycle for Muun Home’s direct‑to‑consumer (D2C) and marketplace channels. You will be the single source of truth for stock accuracy, collaborating closely with the warehouse team and Head of Operations to ensure smooth, scalable fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain real‑time inventory records across all SKUs and storage locations; conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Track inward shipments, returns, damaged or rejected goods and ensure full documentation.
• Update inventory data daily on Shopify and Zoho; guarantee accurate order syncing across marketplaces such as Nykaa, Amazon and Flipkart.
• Oversee receiving, tagging, put‑away, and enforce FIFO/FEFO practices in the warehouse.
• Coordinate packing list accuracy, support dispatch operations and manage damaged, dead stock and returns.
• Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports for the Head of Operations and maintain audit‑ready logs (GRN, inward/outward).

Required profile

• Graduate (B.Com/BBA/Supply Chain preferred) with 2‑4 years of inventory, warehouse or operations experience in D2C or e‑commerce.
• Prior experience in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Shopify and/or Zoho Inventory.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic MIS).
• Familiarity with logistics platforms such as Shiprocket.
• Experience with marketplace seller portals (Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub).
