International Travel Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an International Travel Consultant to join our team and guide clients through every step of their travel journey. You will handle enquiries, craft personalised itineraries and support clients from booking to post‑travel follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to client enquiries via WhatsApp, email and phone, understand preferences, budget and travel style, and recommend destinations, hotels, tours, cruises and experiences.
• Prepare customised travel proposals, quotations and follow up to convert enquiries into bookings, identifying upsell opportunities.
• Research destinations, attractions, transfers and activities; design clear, engaging itineraries and compare supplier options to create competitive packages.
• Coordinate with hotels, cruise operators, destination management companies and other suppliers to confirm bookings, vouchers and transfers.
• Support clients with pre‑travel documentation, monitor ongoing trips and resolve operational issues.
• Stay updated on travel trends, visa requirements and BlueTerra’s product portfolio through webinars and training.
• Assist the marketing team by creating travel‑related content for social media, WhatsApp and email campaigns.

Required profile

• Strong interest in travel, destinations and customer service.
• Good knowledge of international destinations and ability to research travel information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with clients.
• Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple enquiries and basic sales aptitude.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, creative, organised and comfortable in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Previous experience in travel sales, hospitality, customer service or itinerary planning is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Zoho or similar tools.
• Basic content creation and social‑media skills.
