International Tax Specialist

About the role

The International Tax Specialist will support the global tax function by ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions, preparing country‑by‑country (CbC) reports, and assisting with Pillar II requirements. The role collaborates with accounting partners and internal teams to manage tax provisions, filings, and audits for the organization’s worldwide affiliates.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with CbC reporting and Pillar II notices.
• Coordinate with co‑source accounting partners to maintain international tax compliance.
• Handle foreign provisions, convert cash to accrual when needed, and maintain local and master files, including transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Support international M&A activities and maintain a compliance calendar for global tax work.
• File and maintain tax and business licenses, prepare tax‑related journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee manual invoice processes for international entities and respond to tax questions and audits.
• Research and resolve tax notices, forecast tax payments, and assist with ASC 740 provision schedules.
• Stay current on tax developments through webinars and contribute to tax projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in tax, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written communication and fact‑gathering abilities.
• Experience with international tax compliance, provisions, and transfer‑pricing.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and work independently.
