International Tax Manager

About the role

Vinmar International is looking for an experienced International Tax Manager to lead the company’s global tax compliance and planning activities. You will shape international tax strategies, ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and advise on cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement international tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage all aspects of international tax compliance, including transfer pricing documentation, tax filings, and reporting across jurisdictions.
• Provide expert guidance on cross‑border transactions such as M&A, restructurings, and intercompany agreements.
• Coordinate relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities worldwide.
• Identify and mitigate international tax risks and ensure adherence to relevant laws.
• Lead tax audits related to international transactions and resolve controversies.
• Collaborate with global finance, legal, and business teams to integrate tax considerations into decisions.
• Monitor changes in international tax legislation and assess impact on operations.
• Support continuous improvement of tax processes and reporting systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; advanced degree or CPA/CA preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in international taxation, preferably in a multinational corporation or large public accounting firm.
• In‑depth knowledge of international tax laws, transfer pricing and tax treaties.
• Proven experience managing complex international tax compliance and planning projects.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external advisors.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• High ethical standards and commitment to compliance.
