Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Auditor to join our Chartered Accountancy firm. The successful candidate will review internal processes, financial records and operational practices to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency. This role supports risk management and strengthens internal controls across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Examine accounting records, invoices and financial transactions for completeness and correctness.
• Verify that internal policies, approvals and procedures are consistently applied across departments.
• Identify errors, control gaps or process weaknesses and provide practical recommendations.
• Assess compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
• Prepare audit observations and present reports to management for corrective action.
• Follow up on previously reported issues to confirm resolution.
• Coordinate with the accounts team and other departments to clarify audit queries.

Required profile

• Semi‑qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with audit experience.
• 1–4 years of experience in audit, accounting or internal audit.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and professional skepticism.
• Effective communication skills for clear reporting.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Tally accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
