Internal Audit Team Member – Renewables

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Internal Audit Team Member to join the Renewables business unit. The role will independently execute high‑quality internal audits across financial, operational, compliance and technology areas, providing objective assurance to senior management and the audit committee.

Key responsibilities

• Develop audit scope and objectives based on the annual audit plan.
• Execute end‑to‑end audits of projects, procurement, operations and maintenance functions.
• Assess the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls, identifying gaps and red flags.
• Draft observations, risk ratings and annexes, and contribute to audit reports and senior‑management presentations.
• Leverage data‑driven analytics and continuous auditing tools to uncover root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain detailed documentation in line with Global Internal Audit Standards and local regulations.
• Drive closure of audit actions by managing trackers, performing validation testing and ensuring remediation.
• Coordinate with process owners and stakeholders to facilitate smooth audit execution.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in internal audit, preferably within a renewable‑energy or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of business risks, governance frameworks and control environments.
• Ability to audit diverse functions across multiple geographies and present findings clearly.
