Internal Audit Professional – Telecom Industry

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Internal Audit Professional to join our Risk Management team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on the telecom sector, supporting clients across Africa, and requires deep expertise in audit methodology, regulatory compliance, and ERP environments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit plans, evaluate processes, sub‑processes, and activities.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and PFA Act.
• Assess preventive, detective, and anti‑fraud controls within an ERP‑integrated environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to develop high‑impact recommendations.
• Document findings, perform root‑cause analysis, and propose strategic solutions.
• Lead audit teams or work independently to meet audit cycle deadlines and deliver client reports.

Required profile

• MBA or CA qualification.
• Proven track record in internal or process audit.
• Ability to alternate between individual contributor and team‑lead roles.
• Strong communication skills to translate audit findings for senior leadership.
• Solid understanding of IT systems and their integration with financial controls.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of the COSO Framework.
• Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) principles.
• Expertise in manual and automated controls within ERP systems.
• Proficiency in SOX compliance and related regulatory standards.
• Process mapping and control assessment capabilities.
