Internal Audit Manager – Manufacturing (Mumbai)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join a large manufacturing group operating in steel, paper, plastics and related sectors. The role is based in Andheri West, Mumbai, with periodic travel to Nigeria for audit assignments.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute and report internal audits across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Assess compliance with internal policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify control weaknesses, recommend corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
- Coordinate audit schedules with local teams and international stakeholders.
- Prepare audit documentation and present findings to senior management.
Required profile
- Proven experience in internal audit within the manufacturing sector.
- Willingness to travel to Nigeria approximately once every two months.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English.
