Ethos is seeking an Insurance System Operations Analyst to join its Customer Experience team. You will support insurance operations by triaging issues, documenting findings, and ensuring policy workflows remain accurate, compliant, and customer‑friendly. Key responsibilities

• Support investigation of issues affecting administration of Ethos insurance policies.
• Document operational incidents, track trends, and assist with recurring‑issue analysis.
• Tri­age product and policy inquiries raised by customer‑facing teams.
• Collaborate with senior members to communicate known issues and product changes.
• Process financial and administrative tasks for new launches and product stabilization.
• Assist with quality‑assurance testing and validation of new features or updates.
• Execute manual procedures where automation gaps exist to ensure compliance.
• Identify and document process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Escalate high‑impact or time‑sensitive issues promptly.
• Meet individual quality and productivity goals while upholding compliance standards.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in the U.S. insurance industry, preferably with policy administration and compliance.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset and curiosity about how systems and processes work.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and asking clarifying questions.
• Effective communicator who can summarize findings for peers.
• Team‑oriented attitude with willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Required skills

• SQL (1+ years of experience preferred).
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
• Experience using Slack and other productivity tools.
