Instrumentation Engineer – Asset Management

About the role

The Instrumentation Engineer – Asset Management will lead planning, execution and coordination of all instrumentation activities within the spinning sections. The role ensures timely construction, risk identification and seamless collaboration with vendors, engineering contractors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop look‑ahead and daily execution plans aligned with the master schedule.
• Coordinate field instrumentation reviews, installations and commissioning with vendors and engineering contractors.
• Manage material requisition, purchase order tracking, inspection, approvals and goods receipt for the spinning section.
• Maintain accurate progress data, schedule updates and risk reports for the planning team.
• Drive safety culture, implement HSE procedures and ensure statutory compliance.
• Support manpower planning and contract management for project execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in instrumentation projects within industrial or spinning environments.
• Familiarity with automation and packaged instrumentation systems.
• Knowledge of PA and fire‑alarm system installation and commissioning.
• Ability to manage material flow, purchase requisitions and inventory tracking.
• Strong understanding of safety and statutory compliance requirements.
