Instrument Technician – Maintenance, Calibration & PLC

About the role

We are looking for an Instrument Technician to join our industrial team in Ankleshwar. The role focuses on maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation and PLC‑based control systems to ensure reliable plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial instruments and control systems.
• Carry out accurate calibration of instruments according to established standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and control system issues promptly.
• Support and maintain PLC‑based control systems, including programming updates and diagnostics.
• Document maintenance activities, repair logs, and system performance data.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve system reliability and efficiency.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Strong understanding of calibration procedures and instrumentation best practices.
• Familiarity with process control systems and field instruments such as pressure, temperature, and flow sensors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, P&IDs, and control diagrams.
• Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Valid certification in instrumentation (e.g., ISA, CBT) is a plus.
