Infrastructure Engineer – Data Archival & Cloud

About the role

Join a global biopharma leader in Hyderabad as an Infrastructure Engineer focused on data archival, cloud automation and digital transformation. You will work within a hybrid Tech Center environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design, implement and support scalable infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, procure, install and maintain technology services, including cloud and archival platforms.
• Develop data archival solutions for application retirement, de‑commissioning and live data archiving.
• Automate routine system administration tasks using scripting and IaC tools.
• Provide strategic direction for archival infrastructure throughout its full lifecycle.
• Participate in product planning, execution and delivery within a matrix organization.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of IT systems administration experience with data archival, cloud and automation technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, EBS, EMR, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS) and familiarity with Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or Shell.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Knowledge of archival products (OpenText, SOLIX, Informatica) and databases (Oracle, SQL, Citus, Hive).
