Infrastructure, Cloud & Security Architect

About the role

Atlas Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure, Cloud & Security Architect to lead the design, implementation and operation of its enterprise cloud environments. The role is hands‑on and focuses on building scalable, secure and highly available platforms while ensuring compliance and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, including multi‑region, high‑availability architectures.
• Build and operate Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads and Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform or Pulumi.
• Develop and enforce security‑by‑design controls, IAM, SSO, MFA, RBAC and privileged access management.
• Manage networking components such as firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, DNS and virtual networks.
• Define and test disaster‑recovery, backup, RPO/RTO and business‑continuity plans.
• Automate provisioning and operational processes with Python, PowerShell or Bash and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor performance, capacity and cost, and drive optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud platforms and information security.
• Proven ability to work across engineering, product and operations teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder‑management skills.
