Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the computing platform of a regulated medical device. The role covers server, storage, networking, virtualization, and operating‑system domains, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, integrate and sustain infrastructure solutions across servers, storage, networking, virtualization and OS layers.
• Execute hardware refreshes, OS upgrades, firmware updates and other lifecycle activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot NAS, network switches, UPS devices and Windows‑based platforms.
• Assess technical impact of infrastructure changes and support verification activities.
• Contribute to cybersecurity hardening, patch management, monitoring and system reliability improvements.
• Produce technical documentation, design artefacts, impact assessments and implementation plans.

Required profile

• Hands‑on engineer able to own work packages end‑to‑end, from design through verification and documentation.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering within enterprise or regulated environments.
• Comfortable working across multiple technology domains rather than a single specialty.
