Informatica Administrator – UNIX/Linux

About the role

We are seeking an Informatica Administrator with a strong UNIX/Linux background to install, configure, and manage PowerCenter/BDM environments. The role involves supporting code deployments, monitoring workflows, and providing production support while collaborating with ETL developers, database, and infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and administer Informatica PowerCenter and BDM environments at basic level.
• Manage domains, repositories, integration services and application services across Dev, QA and Production.
• Monitor workflows, sessions and logs to ensure successful job execution.
• Troubleshoot ETL performance issues, failures and system‑related problems.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, upgrades and security role management.
• Execute UNIX/Linux system administration tasks supporting Informatica platforms.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, monitoring and batch processing.
• Schedule and monitor jobs using cron, Autosys or Control‑M.
• Analyze system logs, debug issues and provide incident resolution.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, processes and troubleshooting steps.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in Informatica Administration (PowerCenter/BDM).
• Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
• Proficiency in shell scripting.
• Understanding of ETL and data‑warehousing concepts.
• Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control‑M or cron.
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues effectively.
