Income Auditor – Associate

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Income Auditor – Associate to join our finance team in Mysuru. In this role you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of income documentation through comprehensive audits and financial analysis, supporting the hotel’s financial controls and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and review income statements, financial records and supporting documentation to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Perform detailed income verification procedures and reconcile variances between recorded amounts and evidence.
• Identify discrepancies, irregularities and potential audit risks, and prepare comprehensive audit reports and working papers.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit procedures, regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting and operational teams to gather information and clarify audit findings.
• Maintain organised audit trails and follow up on audit recommendations to track corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and refining audit procedures and controls.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional experience in audit, accounting, finance or related roles.
• Proven experience with income verification processes and financial analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and communication skills in English.
• Analytical mindset with ability to manage multiple audit assignments.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and audit standards.
