In-Stock Manager – Inventory Planning & Forecasting

About the role

Join Amazon's supply chain team as an In‑Stock Manager, acting as the primary point of contact for brands and vendors to ensure seamless inventory replenishment. You will drive demand forecasting, automate planning processes, and support vendors in navigating Amazon’s operational tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assist vendors in using Amazon systems, tools, and processes for smooth operations.
• Own end‑to‑end in‑stock planning for assigned categories, executing demand forecasts with Excel templates and Python automation.
• Develop and maintain inventory health dashboards, analyze sell‑through trends, and generate actionable replenishment insights.
• Provide training on catalog content, purchase order management, and shipment processes while correcting errors.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives through data‑driven analysis and automation.
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders, handling escalations and updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or a related field.
• Experience in in‑stock planning, demand forecasting, or supply‑chain management within e‑commerce or retail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships.

Required skills

• Python (pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and automation.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets for demand‑planning templates and reporting.
• Ability to analyze large datasets to derive inventory health metrics.
