In-Service Engineer – Avionics Systems

About the role

Join a dynamic team of engineers supporting Airbus commercial aircraft worldwide. As an In‑Service Engineer for Avionics Systems, you will act as the voice of the customer, providing timely technical assistance and solutions for avionics‑related queries.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to daily engineering queries on Auto Flight, Navigation and Communication systems (ATA 22/23/34/46) for the entire Airbus fleet.
• Provide on‑site or virtual assistance to airlines and their representatives as needed.
• Assess and address technical concerns within defined timeframes, ensuring safety, airworthiness and operational efficiency.
• Analyze in‑service events to identify impacts on reliability, cost, passenger comfort and crew safety.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Design Office, Continued Airworthiness, AOG Technical Center, and external vendors.

Required profile

• 4‑year Aeronautical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in in‑service or support roles.
• Strong knowledge of avionics systems and airline operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Customer‑focused, adaptable, and able to work in multicultural, multi‑functional teams.
