About the role

Join Airbus India’s In‑Service Engineering department in Bangalore for a 12‑month apprenticeship focused on aircraft structures. You will work on airframe repair design and analysis, supporting customers worldwide while gaining hands‑on experience in a leading aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse damage reports received from Airbus customers.
• Develop repair design solutions for airframe structures.
• Perform static, fatigue and damage‑tolerance calculations for proposed repairs.
• Prepare approval reports and manage the approval process.
• Collaborate with a tutor to define professional objectives and track skill development.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate (undergraduate or postgraduate) in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
• No prior full‑time professional experience (internships and academic projects are acceptable).
• Willingness to commit to the full 12‑month apprenticeship.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Aircraft structures design (drafting, GD&T).
• Strength of materials and structural analysis.
• Fracture mechanics.
• Fatigue analysis.
• Stress calculations (static, fatigue, damage tolerance).
