IFRS Business Analyst

About the role

Capco, a Wipro company, is looking for an IFRS Business Analyst to join its India team. The role will involve supporting financial reporting projects for banking, insurance and other financial services clients, focusing on IFRS, FINREP and IFRS9 standards. You will work in a data‑intensive environment, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high‑quality reporting solutions.

Required profile

• Background as a qualified accountant (advantageous but not essential).
• Experience in Financial Reporting (FINREP, IFRS, IFRS9) in BAU or change roles.
• Techno‑finance professional with experience in data‑heavy environments.
• Overall experience in banking, finance or regulatory settings.
• At least 5 years of experience on reporting‑focused business analyst roles and data projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• High analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex functions.
• Flexibility to work across shifts as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project).
• Understanding of cloud technology.
• AI literacy with knowledge of ethical usage.
