IB DP & MYP English Facilitator

About the role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic IB DP & MYP English Facilitator to deliver high‑quality English Language and Literature instruction. You will work with motivated students across the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) to foster inquiry, critical thinking, and global awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inquiry‑based, student‑centred English lessons aligned with IB standards for both MYP and DP.
• Develop students' critical thinking, communication, creativity, and global‑mindedness.
• Assess learning, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
• Support DP assessments, including Internal Assessment and Extended Essay guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary curriculum development.
• Participate in co‑curricular activities, school initiatives, and community events.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external partners.
• Promote student wellbeing and holistic development.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree in English.
• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Preferably IB MYP/DP training or proven experience teaching within the IB framework.
