About the role

We are seeking a qualified TGT Social Studies teacher to join our reputable educational institution. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive Social Studies instruction to CBSE/ICSE students, fostering critical thinking and civic awareness. Key responsibilities

• Teach Social Studies subjects including History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, and Economics.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
• Utilise innovative teaching methods such as maps, charts, presentations, case studies, projects, smart boards, and activity‑based learning.
• Conduct assessments, examinations, assignments, and projects to evaluate student performance.
• Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
• Provide constructive feedback and support students' academic growth.
• Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and civic awareness among students.
• Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, school events, training programs, and co‑curricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.

Required profile

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science discipline.
• Mandatory B.Ed. degree.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a reputable CBSE/ICSE school.
• Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
