Hydraulics Component Design Engineer – Mobile Control Valve & HMI

About the role

We are looking for a specialist Hydraulics Component Design Engineer to lead the design and development of electro‑hydraulic and proportional mobile control valves for the DC‑MH project. The role is based in Bangalore and involves working on cutting‑edge mobile hydraulics solutions for automotive applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electro‑hydraulic and proportional mobile control valves (sectional, monoblock, HIC) and joysticks.
• Create hydraulic schematics, circuit designs, and pressure compensator/spool designs for load‑sensing and flow‑sharing applications.
• Configure control valves to meet specific application requirements.
• Lead cost‑reduction and weight‑reduction initiatives within ratio projects.
• Apply problem‑solving methods and develop solutions for complex hydraulic challenges.
• Design and oversee manufacturing of castings, forgings, and machining processes for hydraulic components.
• Utilize GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis in hydraulic product development.
• Produce CAD models and manufacturing drawings compliant with ASME/ISO‑GPS standards.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5‑13 years of experience in hydraulic component design.
• Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, hydraulic schematics, and mobile hydraulics domain.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
