Human Resources Specialist – Talent Acquisition (India)

About the role

Boston Consulting Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruiting activities for its BST India staff. The role focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and hiring top talent across all functions, supporting BCG's high‑growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end recruitment process for all BST functions, ensuring hiring targets are met within agreed timelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and external search agencies.
• Conduct skill assessments, manage interview cycles, and drive the offer process including reference checks, salary recommendations and negotiations.
• Perform market mapping to identify target organizations, talent pools and industry networks.
• Analyse recruitment metrics, propose enhancements and contribute to global talent‑acquisition initiatives.
• Network through industry associations, trade groups and employee referrals to source both active and passive candidates.
• Research and implement creative sourcing strategies, leveraging direct outreach and external search firms when needed.
• Maintain regular communication with hiring managers and HR partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other graduate degree is a plus.
• 2‑4 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in structured candidate sourcing.
• Background in professional search consulting or similar talent‑acquisition roles.
• Demonstrated creativity, problem‑solving ability and a fast‑paced, startup‑like mindset.
