Human Resources Officer

About the role

The Human Resources Officer will work full‑time on‑site in Thammanam, Cochin, managing daily HR operations and supporting the company’s growth. You will act as a key partner to management and employees, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, and employee‑relations processes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer HR policies, maintain accurate employee records, and support recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Handle employee‑relations matters, facilitate conflict resolution, and promote an inclusive workplace.
• Coordinate performance‑management cycles and assist in creating clear job descriptions.
• Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and company standards.
• Support payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with the finance team.
• Prepare HR reports, monitor metrics, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of HR principles, management practices, and policies.
• Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Ability to develop and maintain accurate job descriptions.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of Indian employment law and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience in a service‑oriented or multi‑disciplinary business environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS or HR‑related software.
