Human Resources Manager – Retail & Operations

About the role

SPIN CYCLES is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function across its retail outlets, customer‑support centre and laundry‑processing facilities in Bengaluru. The role is full‑time, on‑site and will be responsible for end‑to‑end HR activities, from workforce planning to employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the recruitment team and develop hiring plans for stores, support, logistics and factory operations.
• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding, transfers, promotions and separations.
• Oversee attendance, leave, shift, overtime and holiday administration.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure timely submission to finance.
• Maintain employee records, contracts and HR documentation.
• Implement and continuously improve HR policies, procedures and systems.
• Identify training needs and organise induction, technical, behavioural and safety programmes.
• Promote workplace discipline, 5S practices and quality standards.
• Handle statutory compliance, labour management and employee‑relations issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing HR in service‑oriented and manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of manpower planning, recruitment, payroll and statutory compliance in India.
• Ability to work collaboratively with department heads and drive employee engagement.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of 5S methodology.
• Familiarity with Indian labour laws and statutory reporting.
• Experience with payroll coordination and HR information systems.
