Human Resources Manager

About the role

Hey Concrete is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the people function across its design‑led concrete surfaces business in Udaipur. Reporting to the CEO & Co‑Founder, you will partner with senior leaders in business development, production, R&D and finance to build a robust HR foundation as the company scales toward its FY 2026‑27 expansion goals.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for all functions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, onboarding and the implementation of an Interview Ranking System.
• Develop and maintain a structured candidate database and accelerate hiring velocity to meet expansion targets.
• Establish a campus recruitment pipeline with MBA, design and engineering colleges for fresh talent and interns.
• Design and run employee engagement initiatives, retention frameworks (1:1 cadence, pulse surveys, stay/exit interviews) and company‑wide cultural events.
• Manage HR operations and compliance: payroll, statutory contributions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS), attendance, leave, employee records and HR documentation.
• Lead the FY 2026‑27 appraisal cycle and ensure timely onboarding and induction for every new hire.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of hands‑on HR experience, including 1–2 years in a managerial role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to interact with staff at all levels.
• Systems‑oriented mindset with a proven ability to build or significantly improve recruitment processes.
• Resourceful, problem‑solving attitude and comfortable working directly with founders.

Required skills

• HRMS (human resources management system) proficiency.
