Human Resources Manager (Hotel & Events)

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR activities for Chinmaye Inn, a premier wedding hotel in Bhagalpur. This full‑time, on‑site position oversees recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations for both hotel and event staff, ensuring the workforce can meet the demands of high‑profile weddings and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding processes for hospitality and events personnel.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies in line with local labour regulations.
• Oversee performance appraisal cycles and support career development initiatives.
• Handle employee relations, conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate training programmes and continuous learning for staff.
• Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data.
• Collaborate with senior management on workforce planning for peak wedding periods.

Required profile

• Proven experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR policy development.
• Ability to design and deliver training and support staff development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS).
• Advanced use of spreadsheets.
• Competence in word processing tools.
