Human Resources Manager – Healthcare Institution

About the role

The Viraat Ramayan Institute of Medical Sciences is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR functions for its growing medical education and healthcare operations. This full‑time position will oversee the complete employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all HR operations, policies, and the employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit.
• Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and manpower planning for clinical and academic staff.
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave management, payroll coordination and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Develop, update and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions and performance management.
• Collaborate with department heads to address staffing and HR needs.
• Support training initiatives, employee engagement and organizational development programs.
• Prepare regular HR reports and maintain proper documentation.

Required profile

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a hospital, medical college, healthcare or educational institution.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, employee relations and statutory compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and organizational abilities.
• Proven ability to independently manage HR functions in a growing organization.
