Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor on employee relations, disciplinary processes, and performance management. Working closely with business leaders, the HRBP ensures fair, consistent, and legally compliant handling of employee issues while promoting a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employee grievances, workplace issues, and conflict resolution.
• Investigate complaints impartially, maintain confidentiality, and provide timely resolutions.
• Manage end‑to‑end disciplinary processes, including documentation, fact‑finding, and hearings.
• Guide managers through performance improvement plans, terminations, and corrective actions.
• Review and update employee‑relations policies, ensuring audit‑ready documentation and compliance with local labour laws.
• Build trusted relationships with function heads, advising on organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives.
• Support employee engagement surveys, action planning, and culture‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in employee relations, grievance management, workplace investigations, and disciplinary processes.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory requirements and HR compliance.
• High emotional intelligence with excellent conflict‑resolution and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Analytical mindset to interpret ER trends and recommend data‑driven improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented, and business‑focused attitude.
