HR Generalist (Remote APAC)

About the role

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle across multiple APAC countries for a fast‑growing global technology company. The role is fully remote and combines operational HR duties with strategic initiatives to enhance employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR partner for employees and managers across the APAC region.
• Manage onboarding, development, performance management and off‑boarding processes.
• Ensure HR processes comply with local labour laws in each jurisdiction.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and protect data confidentiality.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
• Support performance review cycles, preparing materials and tracking timelines.
• Answer employee queries on contracts, benefits, leave policies and HR procedures.
• Partner with payroll providers and finance teams to guarantee timely payroll.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• Strong understanding of core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
• Knowledge of employment legislation in at least one APAC country (e.g., Philippines, India, Japan, Australia, New Zealand).
• Experience using HRIS platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel for reporting and analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities remotely.
