HR Director – South Asia

About the role

The HR Director will provide strategic leadership for Bureau Veritas’s human capital across the South Asia region, ensuring that people strategies align with overall business objectives. This senior position sits on the executive leadership team, shaping culture, workforce planning and long‑term organizational success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies for multiple business lines, aligning with regional and global objectives.
• Lead talent acquisition, development, performance management and succession planning to build a high‑performing, inclusive workforce.
• Oversee compensation, benefits and total rewards programs, including annual salary reviews and market benchmarking.
• Drive culture integration, change management and employee engagement initiatives across diverse business units.
• Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws, manage employee relations and uphold ethical standards.
• Manage HR operations such as payroll, HRIS and analytics to provide data‑driven insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 10 years in a senior HR leadership role in India.
• Deep knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR best practices across multiple sectors.
• Proven ability to lead strategic HR planning, talent management and change initiatives in a multi‑business environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑influence skills.
