HR Business Partner – Extended Workforce

About the role

The HR Business Partner for the Extended Workforce will own the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle for Airtel’s large, geographically dispersed associate base. You will partner with business heads, staffing agencies, and internal teams to recruit, onboard, support, and off‑board extended workforce members.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to define hiring needs across the geography.
• Coordinate with staffing partners to source and fill open positions.
• Plan and execute recruitment drives and job fairs (melas) in partnership with agencies.
• Onboard new associates, communicating Airtel’s functional processes and cultural values.
• Address associate grievances and act as the primary point of contact for workforce issues.
• Liaise with agency partners on payroll, performance management, and exit processes.
• Manage attrition and develop strategies to retain extended workforce talent.
• Lead a team responsible for delivering HRBP services to the extended workforce.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of recruitment experience, preferably in high‑volume hiring.
• Prior experience handling HR Business Partner responsibilities.
• Strong partnership skills with business heads and external staffing agencies.
• Ability to manage the full employee lifecycle for a large associate pool.
