HR Business Partner – Coimbatore (Onsite)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Business Partner to work on‑site in Coimbatore. The role will partner with business leaders to align people strategies with business goals, drive employee engagement and manage the full employee lifecycle in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with business objectives through workforce planning, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across technical and non‑technical roles.
• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees, providing guidance on policies, processes, and workplace concerns.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, team events, recognition programs, and culture‑building activities.
• Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, and employee relations while fostering a positive work environment.
• Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmations, promotions, transfers, performance discussions, and exit formalities.
• Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback, and recommend initiatives to improve engagement and retention.
• Coordinate background verification, employment verification, HR documentation, and maintain accurate employee records.
• Administer leave management, attendance, HRMS, employee databases, and day‑to‑day HR operations.
• Ensure HR policies, processes, and statutory compliance are effectively communicated and consistently implemented.
• Support performance management, goal setting, feedback cycles, learning initiatives, and career development programs.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards, MIS, and people analytics to support business and leadership decisions.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational initiatives, employee communications, and strategic HR projects.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/MSW preferred).
• 4 to 7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or People Operations professional with hands‑on recruitment experience.
• Strong understanding of HR business partnering, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and HR operations.
• Experience handling background verification, HR documentation, and leave administration.
