HR Associate Partner – Human Resources

About the role

The HR Associate Partner supports Amazon's management team by handling a range of administrative and operational HR tasks. This position ensures accurate attendance tracking, time‑off processing, and documentation for both Amazon associates and staffing‑agency hires.

Key responsibilities

• Clear system flags and assess attendance points for unexcused absences.
• Collect, organize, and obtain manager approvals for time‑off requests.
• Code paid‑and‑unpaid time correctly (vacation, personal time, VTO, lack of work).
• Make points corrections for staffing agencies and Amazon associates as directed.
• Identify, track, and reconcile missing punch‑in/out and lunch punches.
• Enter orientation punches for new agency hires and correct attendance data.
• Research counseling history and submit counseling documentation through the GAPS system.
• Print and organize attendance counseling notices for managers.
• Answer associate inquiries about points, vacation, and personal time balances.
• Assist with safety and dock audits, production reporting, and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months of human‑resources experience.
• At least 6 months of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working in confidential environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
