Housekeeping Staff (Ranchi)

About the role

The Housekeeping Staff member will ensure that the Drishti IAS campus in Ranchi remains clean, hygienic, and safe for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This role supports the daily operations of classrooms, offices, washrooms, and common areas by maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitization of assigned zones.
• Prepare classrooms and meeting rooms so they are ready for scheduled sessions and events.
• Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies and ensure proper usage.
• Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with hygiene and safety protocols.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or supply shortages to the reporting manager promptly.
• Respond to housekeeping requests from students, faculty, and visitors efficiently.
• Adhere to organizational standards for cleanliness, safety, and discipline while performing duties.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning, and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with proper handling and use of cleaning equipment and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cleanliness or maintenance issues.
• Punctual, disciplined, responsible, and service‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Operation of standard cleaning equipment (e.g., mops, vacuums, floor scrubbers).
• Safe handling of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
