Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager will lead the housekeeping department of Hyatt Regency Gurgaon, ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet Hyatt’s brand standards. This role combines operational oversight with staff leadership to deliver a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations for guest rooms, corridors, lobby, and other public areas.
• Manage laundry and dry‑cleaning services, including hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry.
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures that align with Hyatt International’s corporate strategies.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, linens and equipment, ensuring cost‑effective usage.
• Train, schedule and supervise housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with brand standards and health‑safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate guest services and special events.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager in a comparable hotel operation.
• Strong problem‑solving, administrative and interpersonal abilities.
