Housekeeping Faculty – Hospitality Institute

About the role

The Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Tourism (IHMC-U) is looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Faculty to join its academic team in Balicha, Udaipur. The successful candidate will combine strong practical housekeeping knowledge with a passion for teaching, preparing students for successful careers in the hospitality industry.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom lectures and practical training on housekeeping operations.
• Train students in room cleaning, public area maintenance, laundry operations, linen management, and guest service standards.
• Prepare lesson plans, training schedules, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct demonstrations and hands‑on sessions in housekeeping labs.
• Guide students on grooming, discipline, workplace etiquette, and industry expectations.
• Monitor student progress and provide academic support as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping labs, equipment, and training materials.
• Coordinate with management for academic activities, events, and placements.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Relevant industry experience in hotel or resort housekeeping (preferred).
• Prior teaching or training experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, disciplined, and professional attitude.
• Willingness to mentor and motivate students.
• Based in Udaipur or willing to relocate.
