Hotel Receptionist – Front Desk

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team in Haridwar. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience while providing helpful information about the local area.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage all front‑desk operations, including check‑in and check‑out.
• Handle reservations, amendments, and cancellations using the hotel’s reservation system.
• Answer phone calls and in‑person inquiries with clear, courteous communication.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Maintain accurate guest records and process payments securely.
• Provide local information, assistance, and promptly resolve any guest concerns.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and compliant with safety policies.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to stay organized, multitask, and work calmly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Hindi and basic English; additional languages are a plus.
• Prior experience in hospitality or front‑office roles is preferred but not mandatory.
