Hospice Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Aide to join our hospice team in Mesquite, Texas. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care to individuals at the end of life, supporting both patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor vital signs and promptly report any changes to the physician.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Assist with end‑of‑life care and comfort measures.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Required profile

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, patient‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
