Head of Internal Audit (Vertical)

About the role

The Vertical Head of Internal Audit will lead the internal audit function across ABFSG’s branches and franchisees, ensuring a robust control environment and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Audit planning: develop and obtain sign‑off on standardized audit checklists, conduct scheduled and surprise audits across all business units.
• Audit assessment: identify discrepancies during audits, rectify issues on the spot when possible, and document unresolved findings with response timelines.
• Audit management: prepare detailed audit reports and monitor follow‑up actions to ensure timely closure of findings.
• Management reporting & MIS: deliver regular progress updates, escalations and management‑information system reports according to defined intervals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit or internal control functions, preferably within a multi‑branch or franchise environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and internal policy adherence.
• Ability to lead audit teams, coordinate with branch management and drive corrective actions.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
