Head of Fundraising

About the role

CodeYogi Foundation is seeking a senior fundraising leader to design and execute a multi‑year resource mobilization strategy. You will be the primary owner of the revenue pipeline, turning the organization’s impact story into compelling proposals for donors, partners, and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own a 12‑24 month fundraising plan covering CSR, foundations, government, HNI, and retail channels.
• Maintain a prioritized pipeline of 30+ prospects and run weekly pipeline reviews with the Founder and monthly updates to the Board.
• Identify, cultivate, and close institutional and major gifts, personally managing top‑of‑pipeline relationships.
• Oversee donor reporting, renewal strategies, and board‑level updates.
• Ensure compliance with CSR, Section 8, and FCRA requirements.
• Represent CodeYogi at funder meetings, sector convenings, and partner events.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of fundraising or development experience in a non‑profit, social enterprise, or similar organization.
• 2‑3 years in a function‑building or leadership‑adjacent role.
• Proven track record of securing significant institutional or major gifts.
• Strong analytical ability to forecast revenue and manage pipelines.
